Disconnect, or rather re-connect! There is a choice of board games and books to choose from, but no wifi available.
Enjoy the outdoors. Strap on some snowshoes and enjoy private, scenic trails leaving right from the cabin, while listening to the sound of the creek in the bottom of the valley, and the wind whispering through the trees.
Back to basics. The cabin is equipped to be cozy and comfortable, life here is happy and simple. Going to the outhouse at night equals better chances of seeing northern lights. Using blue jugs for water (from October-May), is no biggie. There is gravity fed water on the tap from May-October.

For your comfort, this simple but comfortable off-grid cabin is equipped with: table- cookware, solar power, propane range, a queen bed with bedding, a wood stove, running water from May-Oct, Water in blue jugs Oct-May, a cooler, an outhouse, drinking water in jugs, a deck with table& chairs.
Dogs welcome. 1 dog per stay. Pet fee $10
No shower, No Internet(available in town).
The homestead is 10km north of town on McDonald lake road. It is secluded, surrounded by wilderness, and boasts breathtaking views of Atlin lake and Atlin mountain. the closest neighbours are 1+km away. The cabin is located adjacent to the main house, so we're here if you need anything.
When there is snow on the ground, our driveway requires all wheel drive or 4x4. If you have 2wd you can always park at the top and walk down (200m)
Reminder: We do not have hot showers or internet available at the cabin.
There are Showers in town, as well as public internet (at the Service BC office, you can access their public internet from in your vehicle, parket outside the building).
