6 Bedroom Cottage in Amherst
This is our beautiful 5 bedroom cottage. We looked in the Laurentians for two full years before deciding this was the perfect place for our family. I hope you enjoy it as much as our family does.
Our cottage is fully equipped with everything you will need for your family vacation. All the beds have very nice linen, the kitchen is complete with utensils, dishes, pots and pans, and even spices and the basics for cooking. You are welcome to use all the spices, flower, sugar etc... you need and if you have anything left at the end you are welcome to leave it. There are towels, face clothes, soap, laundry detergent, dish soap...... The water is excellent, and you can drink the tap water. We also have a water cooler if you would like to bring along some bottled water. There is full laundry facilities. The internet is excellent, even for ms teams.
We are directly on the lake, with great swimming directly from our beach. You are welcome to use any of the non-motorized water toys- we have a sup, kayak and a canoe. There is also good fishing in the lake with bass, pickerel and grey trout. The kids can catch perch and sunfish right from the dock.
We have a "small cottage" that we have on the same property, and it sleeps four additional people. You are welcome to use this as well if you desire.
Our cottage is a fully winterized facility to be enjoyed in the winter as well. We are approximately 30 minutes from both Mont Tremblant and Mont Blanc ski resorts. There are also many skidoo and ate trails nearby, as well as many cross country and hiking trails in the nearby Tremblant National Park!
We are 1h30 minutes from both Montreal and Ottawa, 25 minutes from St Jovite, and about 30 minutes from Mont Tremblant.
Please note that you must indicate if you plan to bring your dog BEFORE the reservation, and that the circumstances will be discussed before your arrival.

Ceci est notre magnifique chalet de 5 chambres. Nous avons cherché dans les Laurentides pendant deux années complètes avant de décider que c'était l'endroit idéal pour notre famille. J'espère que vous l'apprécierez autant que nous.
Notre chalet est entièrement équipé avec tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour vos vacances en famille. Tous les lits ont de très beaux draps, la cuisine est complète avec des ustensiles, de la vaisselle, des casseroles, des épices et les bases pour cuisiner. Vous êtes invités à utiliser toutes les épices, la farine, le sucre, etc. dont vous aurez besoin et s'il vous reste quelque chose à la fin, vous pouvez le laisser. Il y a des serviettes, des débarbouillettes, du savon, du détergent à lessive, du savon à vaisselle... L'eau est excellente et vous pouvez boire l'eau du robinet. Nous avons également un refroidisseur d'eau si vous souhaitez apporter de l'eau en bouteille. Il y a une salle de lavage complète. L'internet est excellent, même pour les rencontres sur Microsoft Teams. Nous sommes directement sur le lac, avec une superbe baignade directement depuis notre plage. Vous êtes invités à utiliser nos embarcations aquatiques non motorisés - nous avons un SUP, un kayak et un canoë. Il y a aussi de la bonne pêche dans le lac avec de l'achigan, du brochet et de la truite grise. Les enfants peuvent attraper des perches et des crapets directement depuis le quai.
Nous avons récemment réparé un "petit chalet" que nous avons sur la même propriété et qui peut accueillir quatre personnes supplémentaires. Vous pouvez également l'utiliser si vous le souhaitez. Notre chalet est une installation entièrement hivernée à apprécier également en hiver. Nous sommes à environ 30 minutes des stations de ski Mont Tremblant et Mont Blanc. Il y a aussi de nombreux sentiers de motoneige et de restauration à proximité, ainsi que de nombreux sentiers de ski de fond et de randonnée dans le parc national de Tremblant à proximité! Nous sommes à 1h30 de Montréal et d'Ottawa, à 25 minutes de St Jovite et à environ 30 minutes de Mont Tremblant.
