This magical home on the stunning Maine coast is the perfect retreat for a family or extended family. Tucked away on eleven acres of woods, just across the road from the world-famous Wooden Boat school in Brooklin, Maine. For many decades now this charming village on its picturesque harbor has been a summer haunt of writers and artists, and a year-round home to the master boatbuilders who make little Brooklin "The Wooden Boat Capital of the World."
We are a ten minute walk from the ocean, twenty minutes from the conveniences of nearby Blue Hill, and a short drive from Acadia National Park, Deer Isle, Castine and all the other sights of Downeast Maine.
The most amazing thing about this remarkable home is its massive natural swimming pool. It's chemical-free, crystal clear, surrounded by flowers, and pleasantly swimmable even on summer days when the nearby ocean is frigid.
