(Just re-listing after after a Covid year break) This is a pretty and private garden apartment, which comfortably accommodates one or two people. The space has a lovely tile bathroom, with a soaking tub and a double shower built for sharing. Inside you have a well equipped kitchenette, which tidies away behind closed doors, or you can barbeque outside in the garden patio area. This studio comprises part of a larger high end residence, but is fully self contained with it's own private entrance and a designated parking space.
Bayside is a sweet Arcata neighborhood with a semi-rural feel, just two miles from the very center of Arcata and Humboldt State University, and seven from downtown Eureka.
The property has panoramic views over Humboldt Bay and marsh areas that are part of the Pacific flyway for many kinds of migratory birds. Depending on the season, the sound of cows in the fields is complemented by the sounds of thousands of wild geese coming and going; frogs chorusing; coyotes yipping.
There is a delightful coffee house at the corner, or head into Arcata or Eureka to find a nice range of local restaurants. The closest supermarket is a mile away, but venture a mile further to find two remarkably well stocked natural foods supermarkets in downtown Arcata. Alternatively, stock up at one of the many local farmers markets - especially Saturdays on the Arcata Plaza - which offer great local produce and fun people watching. We also have an organic community farm with farm stand about a 1/4 mile down the road.
