This suite is 842 square feet, complete with 1 bedroom, and a sofa bed. The beautiful full, large open kitchen provides ample space to prepare meals with ease using a variety of kitchen essentials as well as a full size range and fridge with a large microwave oven. Enjoy a sunny morning listening to the birds in your backyard, overlooking a serene park-like setting is a perfect start to any day!
The space
Our large backyard has a horseshoe pit and fire pit with lots of wood available for an evening roasting marshmallows and enjoy your evening under the stars. There are 2 sitting area's in the yard so whether you love the sunshine or shade you can always have either during the hot Valley days. One sitting area is dedicated for your use but all are for you to enjoy. If your game is croquet we have a set waiting for your fun. Our backyard has a creek at the back of the property and the yard has ample privacy. You can start your day with a coffee in the peaceful yard then take a walk along the Cowichan River, where there are swimming holes for a quick dip.
Guest access
Your suite is completely private and only available to you during your stay. You have full use of the yard and if you wish to play horseshoes or croquet please let us know as the weather has been unpredictable so we have them out of the rain but easily accessible for you. The driveway is yours alone while you are our quest and has parking for 2 vehicles. Extra parking is available on the street out front. The basketball hoop out front can be used and if you would like a basketball available please let us know. We have put tennis racquets and balls in your suite as there is a public tennis court in the park behind us. A quick 3 min walk away.
Other things to note
Your suite is on a non drive through road which keeps the traffic to a bare minimum. This also allows for a quiet, peaceful home and yard. It feels as though you are miles from the busy town, but in reality you are only a short walk or drive, from anything Cowichan has to offer.
