Our stylish, well-appointed and well-lit studio apartment is in the lovely and quiet neighborhood of Stratford Hills. Situated just a block off of Chippenham Parkway, you will have clear and efficient access to all of the cities charms. We are only a 5 minute drive to Pony Pasture and Huguenot Flatwater, two signature spots, on the beautiful James River. There is boat access, swimming, hiking, and biking trails. You could even ride your bike there if don’t mind the hills and it's a peaceful 1 mile walk to the river.
This is a studio apartment, some might call it a mother-in-law suite, situated in the bottom level of our house. The apartment has a private driveway with plenty of space (bringing a boat or kayaks?), and a private patio with a grill and table for 4. Inside there is one king bed, a dedicated workspace, a tasteful living room with couch, tv, a brick fireplace that doesn’t work yet but looks cozy, and an attractive kitchenette with refrigerator, two-burner stovetop, microwave, coffee machine, toaster oven and bar-seating for two. You will have your own bathroom, a 70’s period piece, and there is both a washer and dryer should you need it.
Although it is in our house, there are no shared spaces. That said, we are a family of three and you may be able to hear our 5 year old son running around upstairs :) We will always try and be as quiet and respectful as possible while you are staying downstairs!
