Nestled close to pristine lakes and scenic hiking trails, it's perfect for a relaxing escape or an adventurous retreat. The area is famous for its fishing, boating, scenery and mild climate year round. There are 5 lakes close by for swimming and water sports. There is excellent mountain biking and many beautiful hikes, including one right across the street, with truly world-class views. The property is situated in a very quiet neighbourhood so that all you hear is the sound of wildlife, and we have deer as regular visitors. A truly exceptional place of peaceful beauty. You can be as active as you like or relax in nature. Madeira Park is 15 minutes away (for groceries and restaurants), and Sechelt is a 45 minute drive - where there are lots of shops as well as cross country skiing and snowshoeing offered in winter. Garden Bay gets only half the rain of the lower mainland and is green all year round. It's a wonderful retreat during the winter and incredible for enjoying sunny summer days. Please note that there is a minimum stay of 3 nights at this property. Guests may check-in anytime after 4 PM and must check-out by 11 AM.
