This is a rare double property with 210 feet of exceptional private beach situated right at the heart of the Penobscot Peninsula within striking distance to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Blue Hill, Stonington/Deer Isle and even Camden. Ideal for an extended multigenerational family or friends reunion week with 8 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, 2 full kitchens. The two houses are just a 3min walk down the camp lane from each other, with an idyllic seaside cottage with 4BRs, and a forrest house with 4BRs. Games, lawn and beach present a multitude of fun activities for friends and family, there's even a canoe and inflatable kayak.
This is a great value for a large contingent, a rarity in the area and at a price that leaves you your lobster budget intact! We have hosted many a friends group between the two houses, and though there is a short stroll between, actually having the two houses apart a bit allows for flexibility and works quite well.
Do note that pets are allowed in the forrest house, and on the beach (with leashes), porch and grounds by the ocean, but not IN the seaside cottage. This is a combination of two listings owned by our family, 36 Contention Cove Ln (https://www.vrbo.com/718508) and 34 Stagecoach Ln (https://www.vrbo.com/881269). We are a Premier Host, and you can read reviews at the component properties, as we have just started listing them together. Additional notes: 1) there is a deep water mooring that may be available if desired, and 2) Maximum appropriate adults is 15 plus kids up to 18-20 if you want to get creative and depending on ages (we can talk through your group's fit when you request booking). Fully loaded, you definitely must be considerate on the water usage for showers stacked up on top of each other and keep them shorter/spaced out.
